AIC organises an event to present the Catena-X initiative

On the morning of 4 November, and within the framework of the C-SpAICe project led by AIC – Automotive Intelligence Center, an event was held at its facilities in Amorebieta-Etxano to present the Catena-X pathways designed in collaboration with Asociación Innovalia, aimed at accelerating the incorporation of digital and automotive companies into the Catena-X ecosystem.

The session brought together a selected group of key companies from the automotive sector. In this first meeting, the initiative in which AIC – Automotive Intelligence Center and Asociación Innovalia collaborate, with the support of Catena-X, was presented.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the Catena-X data-sharing model as a standardised ecosystem for secure data exchange in the automotive industry. Catena-X is promoted by the main players in the sector, connecting OEMs, suppliers and the rest of the value chain.

Within the C-SpAICe initiative, its alignment with the current context of the automotive sector was presented, as well as the different pathways created to help industrial companies and solution providers operate their solutions, with full guarantees, in a Catena-X environment. Support will be provided to developers and digital companies to build a high-quality digital offering of Catena-X applications. In addition, a demonstration and experimentation space for the technology will be made available to companies in the automotive value chain that wish to adapt their data exchange processes to this ecosystem.

We encourage companies to join the initiative in order to benefit from personalised support, advanced testing infrastructures, specialised knowledge and training, together with open-source solutions and catalogues of certified applications (based on existing KITs) that will enable them to adapt their solutions and processes to the Catena-X working environment.
